Located in a rural
retreat deep in the hills of Northern Sonoma County, this residence
is sited on a small knoll that provides sweeping views of Knights
Valley and Mount St. Helena in the distance. This small house
is designed to serve first as the owners residence, and
ultimately as a caretakers residence when the main house
is designed and built in the future. It is a symmetrical pavilion
addressing the cardinal points of the compass with different functions
taking advantage of the differing views and orientations. The
rear of the house opens onto an open terrace surrounding an infinity
edge swimming pool. |
