We were retained to remodel a 1920s estate for its new owners whose 21st century life style had little in common with the era of the houses construction. A servants wing was opened up and redesigned to serve as a bright and informal space for children and daily family life. The kitchen was expanded and made a more significant part of the houses overall function. Finally, a large music/gallery space was provided to display the familys collection of modern American ceramics and provide a contemplative space for music and study.
