This
rural high school has been remodeled numerous times since it was
originally built in the 1960s. Two new wings of 30,000 square
feet were added containing a new gymnasium, sixteen classrooms,
vocational education area as well as remodeled bathrooms, school
store and locker rooms. Pavilions with canopies mark the new entries
and allow light to infiltrate through translucent walls of Kalwall.
The same panels were also used for the clearstory fenestration
to naturally illuminate the corridors. We provided technical,
design and documentation support to Noelker & Hull Associates,
project architects. |
